Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Tithing Thrifters, LLC (“TTT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to purchases, orders, local pickups, donations, and other interactions with The Tithing Thrifters.

By using our website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please review them carefully before making a purchase.

About the Tithing Thrifters

The Tithing Thrifters is a family-owned, faith-driven, for-profit Georgia business offering a combination of secondhand merchandise, vintage and unique finds, and select new merchandise.

Our inventory may include clothing, accessories, jewelry, home goods, décor, books, homeschool and educational materials, toys, collectibles, furniture, Christian merchandise, and other unique finds.

Because much of our inventory consists of donated, secondhand, vintage, or one-of-a-kind merchandise, availability and condition will vary from item to item.

Second Chance Finds

Our secondhand merchandise is offered as Second Chance Finds. We make reasonable efforts to inspect items and accurately represent their condition through photographs and descriptions.

Secondhand and vintage items may naturally show signs of previous ownership, age, use, wear, fading, minor imperfections, or other characteristics consistent with their history. These characteristics do not necessarily constitute defects.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing available photographs, descriptions, measurements, condition information, and other product details before purchasing.

Because many Second Chance Finds are one of a kind, once they're gone, they're gone.

Good Bones Items

Some furniture and unique pieces may be intentionally offered in their existing condition because they have restoration, refinishing, repair, or upcycling potential. We refer to these items as Good Bones pieces.

We will make reasonable efforts to photograph or describe known or visible condition concerns. Good Bones pieces are offered with the understanding that additional work may be necessary before use.

Customers are responsible for evaluating whether a Good Bones piece is suitable for their intended project or use.

New Merchandise

TTT may also offer new merchandise supplied by manufacturers, wholesalers, artists, or other vendors.

Product appearance, dimensions, finishes, materials, colors, and other characteristics may vary slightly from photographs or manufacturer images.

Manufacturer warranties, when available, are subject to the manufacturer's own terms and conditions.

Availability of new merchandise, including furniture identified as Coming Soon, is subject to supplier relationships and inventory availability..

Pricing, Inventory & Availability

Prices and product availability may change without notice.

Many of our Second Chance Finds are one-of-a-kind items. Placing an item in an online shopping cart does not necessarily reserve that item. Merchandise is not guaranteed until the order has been successfully completed and payment accepted.

Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate inventory, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order is submitted. If we cannot fulfill an order, we may cancel the affected item and refund the amount paid for that item.

TTT reserves the right to correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, inventory errors, or obvious pricing errors and, when necessary, cancel and refund an affected order..

All Sales Are Final

Due to the nature of our inventory, all sales are final.

The Tithing Thrifters does not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, fit, color preference, measurements, minor imperfections, or other characteristics disclosed or reasonably visible in the product listing.

Many of our Second Chance Finds are pre-owned, vintage, donated, or one of a kind. Customers are responsible for reviewing all available photographs, descriptions, measurements, condition information, and other product details before completing a purchase.

Furniture and large-item purchases are also final sale. Customers are responsible for confirming measurements, condition, transportation requirements, and suitability for their space before purchasing.

If you believe you received the wrong item or that an item was materially misrepresented in its listing, please contact TTT promptly after receiving or picking up your order so we can review the situation. Any remedy offered will be determined based on the circumstances and applicable law.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Payments & Order Acceptance

Orders are subject to successful payment authorization and product availability.

TTT reserves the right to decline or cancel an order when reasonably necessary because of inventory errors, payment problems, suspected fraud, obvious pricing errors, inability to fulfill an order, or other legitimate business reasons.

If TTT cancels an order after payment has been collected and the merchandise has not been provided to the customer, the applicable amount paid will be refunded.

Applicable sales tax will be collected as required by law.

Local Pickup

TTT currently operates primarily as an online retailer with local pickup, rather than a traditional walk-in retail store.

Pickup instructions, location information, and available arrangements will be provided after purchase or communicated directly by TTT.

Please do not arrive for pickup until your order has been confirmed as ready.

Customers are responsible for having an appropriately sized vehicle and adequate assistance to safely load and transport their purchases.

Once merchandise has been released to the customer or the customer's authorized representative, the customer assumes responsibility for its transportation and handling.

Furniture & Large-Item Purchases

Customers are responsible for reviewing dimensions before purchasing furniture or other large items and confirming that the merchandise will fit through applicable doorways, stairways, elevators, hallways, vehicles, and its intended location.

Unless specifically agreed otherwise, customers are responsible for arranging appropriate transportation and adequate assistance for pickup.

Delivery may become available for select furniture or purchases. When delivery is offered, applicable availability, geographic limitations, fees, scheduling requirements, and other conditions will be communicated before delivery is confirmed..

Donations & Item Submissions

The Tithing Thrifters welcomes donations of select clothing, home goods, books, toys, décor, furniture, and other merchandise that may be suitable for resale.

TTT reserves the right to accept or decline any donation at our discretion based on condition, cleanliness, safety, available space, current inventory needs, resale potential, or other reasonable considerations.

Items brought to TTT should be clean, complete, functional, and in good usable condition, unless they are being considered as a potential Good Bones piece.

Furniture, large items, and potential Good Bones pieces must be submitted for review before being brought to TTT. You may use our Contact form to provide information and upload photographs.

Submission of photographs does not guarantee acceptance. Please wait until TTT confirms that your item has been approved before bringing it to us.

Once a donation has been accepted and transferred to TTT, it becomes the property of The Tithing Thrifters, LLC and may be sold, donated, repurposed, recycled, discarded, or otherwise handled at TTT's discretion. Donated items cannot be reclaimed after acceptance.

Containers used to deliver donations—including boxes, baskets, totes, and bins—are considered part of the donation unless otherwise agreed before transfer and will not be returned.

Our commitment to give 10% of our final profits to Christian ministries and charitable work is part of TTT's own business mission and does not convert merchandise donated to TTT into a tax-deductible charitable contribution by the donor.

Our Giving Commitment

Giving is built into the mission of The Tithing Thrifters.

TTT commits 10% of its final profits to supporting Christian ministries and charitable work.

This commitment is based on final profits, not 10% of each individual sale, purchase price, gross revenue, or customer transaction.

Purchases from TTT are retail transactions and are not charitable contributions by the customer. Customers should not claim any portion of a TTT purchase as a charitable contribution based solely on TTT's giving commitment.

TTT determines the organizations, ministries, timing, and distribution of its charitable giving in accordance with its business mission and applicable law..

Product Photographs, Colors & Measurements

We make reasonable efforts to represent merchandise accurately.

Colors and appearance may vary depending on lighting, photography, screens, monitors, and device settings.

Measurements are provided as accurately as reasonably possible but may be approximate, particularly for secondhand, vintage, handmade, or uniquely shaped items.

Customers should allow for reasonable variation and contact us with questions before purchasing when a particular measurement or characteristic is important.

Customer-submitted Photos & Information

When you submit photographs or information through our Contact form, including photographs of potential donations or Good Bones pieces, you represent that you have the right to provide that material to TTT.

Submitted photographs and information may be used by TTT for the purpose of reviewing your inquiry, evaluating an item, communicating with you, and administering the related transaction or donation.

Submitting photographs does not transfer ownership of the pictured item to TTT and does not guarantee that TTT will accept the item.

Limitation of Liability

TTT makes reasonable efforts to offer merchandise appropriate for resale; however, customers are responsible for using purchased items safely and for their intended purposes.

Secondhand merchandise may not include its original packaging, instructions, manuals, warnings, hardware, or manufacturer documentation.

Customers should exercise additional care when purchasing or using products intended for children, electrical products, appliances, furniture, or other merchandise for which installation, assembly, age restrictions, or safety instructions may apply.
